Online 24 hours a day, 7days a week. We will respond to emails within 1 business day, if not sooner.

Our order processing hours are 8am to 5pm EST. Monday though Friday. Orders received outside this timeframe will be processed the next business day.

 

PAYMENTS

We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and E-check through Paypal. We utilize Paypal to ensure that your financial information is protected. We will not sell your email, phone numbers or mailing address for any reason. We may, on occasion, send you an email or postcard to notify you of a new product or sale.

 

SHIPPING and HANDLING

We will ship USPS Parcel Post unless another method is requested. 'If you do not wish to use USPS Parcel Post, please put the shipping method you prefer (USPS Priority Mail, UPS, FEDEX) in the notes area at checkout. If another shipping method is requested, a separate email invoice for any extra shipping cost will be sent to you prior to the order being shipped.

At this time, we have chosen the best shipping calculation option Paypal has to offer us. Paypal does not provide a shipping calculator based on weight, only on purchase price. We have made every attempt to accurately price the shipping of your order. We based the charges on the many combinations of candles and soaps that may be ordered within the price ranges we have chosen. We then figured the weights of these orders and set the shipping charges accordingly. It is not our intention to profit from our shipping charges, only to cover our expenses for shipping costs and packaging materials.

The shipping charge for orders between $0.01 and $15.00 is $6.05
The shipping charge for orders between $15.01 and $45.00 is $8.55
The shipping charge for orders between $45.01 and $75.00 is $10.80
The shipping charge for orders between $75.01 and $105.00 is $8.55
Shipping for orders over $105.01 is free.

Hawaii and Alaska - When having an order shipped to Hawaii or Alaska, the shipping amount will initially be calculated at check out based on your order total as with any other order. In addition to the initial shipping charge paid at the time the order is placed, an email invoice for the additional shipping will be sent to you when the order is processed.

I’m sorry but we do not ship outside the United States at this time.

 

MI Sales Tax

We will charge Michigan orders 6% sales tax.

 

Processing Timeframes

Orders are usually shipped within 2 to 3 business days. We custom pour all candles and soaps at the time of order. Soy candles need 2 days to cure and are shipped after curing.

 

Delivery Timeframes

USPS Parcel Post packages are usually delivered in 2 to 6 days. Priority Mail packages are usually delivered in 2-3 days.

 

Special requests

As we may not be dealing with our usual suppliers to meet your special request, our normal processing timeframe will not apply. We will quote a processing timeframe and minimum order amount when responding to your special requests. All special requests require a minimum order.

 

RETURNS

If you are not satisfied with the shade of color or scent strength of your candle or soap upon receipt, please contact us at RETURNS@IRISH-HUMMINGBIRD.COM to arrange a re-pour or refund (minus shipping).

Re-pours or refunds are processed at the owners discretion as these are custom products.

Upon confirmation of a refund or re-pour, we ask that you ship the items back to us for quality checking.

Please keep in mind when ordering that these are custom poured items. Variations in color or scent strength can occur between orders. In large quantity orders, some variation in color or scent strength may occur due to the order being poured in several smaller batches.

We make every attempt to ensure that each candle or soap is the color requested and the scent strength is the same in each item you receive from us.
