Soy wax candles have a naturally pastel hue. To ensure the best overall color possible, we aim for a middle shade with our colors. The pictures above are candles we have poured. If you prefer a darker or lighter shade, please let us know when you order.

The colors below are representative of the color you will receive but your candle may not be an exact match due to the differences in computer monitors.

When placing a large order, please note that small color variations may occur within the order, as each candle is hand made.

 

 

Soap Colors

Listed below are the colors our glycerin soap is available in.

I’d like to start by asking you a question. Which is more important to you - color, scent or detail? You may ask, “What does this have to do with choosing a soap color?” Please allow me to explain.

Glycerin soaps tend to take on a chemical smell if over colored. They can also stain your skin if over colored. To minimize this effect, we at Irish Hummingbird, aim for a middle shade when coloring our soaps.

The detail on some soap shapes shows up better when using an opaque soap instead of a clear soap. Using an opaque soap will automatically make the color pastel.

Please note that we will attempt to create darker colors if you request them, but can not guarantee that the scent will not be compromised. However, we understand that in some circumstances, color is more important, especially for wedding or shower favors where there is a color scheme.

We will attempt to color match our soaps and candles to your theme. Please contact us at special requests if you have a special color in mind. Color matched orders take longer than our usual 2 to 3 business days so please allow plenty of time before the event for processing.
